I have the Asus rt-n66u and it was functioning well for over 6 months, but now 2.4 Ghz is a joke (5Ghz perfect). I have updated to the latest asus firmware (3.0.0.4.376_1071). The internet provider gives me 20Mbps - always perfect and good on 5Ghz. 2.4 GHz- constant fluctuation, slow, ranging from 1Mbps to 3Mbps, occasionally achieving 20.
