At Amazon, the Surface RT is not listed as a compatible device for Amazon Instant Video. It might be that Amazon needs to seamlessly install a proprietary player (which can't be done on the Surface RT), or it might be a Flash issue (less likely, since you aren't getting a message to install Adobe Flash).
